Gynaecology setup
Seeing the need and requirements of Gynaecology, this facility has already started from September 2020.
- An estimated Rs 2.5 Million is required to setup a full-fledged Gyne ward.
- We have 5 rooms on the ground floor (fully utilized) and 8 rooms (untilized) on the first floor. It’s a two stories building but is strong enough to go upto 5 stories.
- Once operational, the Gyne setup will require 24x7x365 attention to the Inpatients (IPD) admitted for delivery.
- Operation theater is also included in the amount mentioned above.
Child Specialist setup
With Gynecology comes the need of a child specialist who could take care of the new born baby, vaccination and other necessary treatment for children upto the age of 12 years.
- It is estimated that very soon we will require Child specialists too and we need to arrange for the same.
Skin Specialist Clinic
- Due to the low standard of living in this area of Karachi, the Women, children and a number of men also have skin diseases.
- Skin Specialists are being contacted to start part time clinics to take care of the bad situation in the area.
Medical Camps
- Large pharmaceutical organizations are being approached to setup Medical Camps to support the cause of frequent tests like diabetes, LFT, CBC, BMI, and other such tests which everyone should do once in a certain period of time.
- Certain companies provide Vaccination to the poor which also setup medical camps in Flu and Malaria seasons.
Environment friendly Solar Electricity
- Load shedding in this area is about 6 hours in 24 hours. The electricity goes off at least two times during the day and once during the night for 2 hours.
- Karachi Electric has increased the tariffs to about 65% in the last 2 years. Hence no stopping to their increased billing.
- To run a 24×7 medical center, it is imperative that it should have its own generation of electricity.
- The estimated cost of such a facility is about Rs 1 Million. All lights, fans, fridges & medical equipment can run smoothly for 2 hours on this expense. However, we need another 1 milion to run the air conditioners.
